Job Description
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business decision-making.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is recorded timely and accurately.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to align with company standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct tax filings, VAT declarations, and other statutory reports in compliance with local tax laws.
- Assist in the preparation of audits, liaising with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and insights.
- Monitor and reconcile account balances to ensure financial accuracy and mitigate discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and strategic planning.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
